![]() BNY ConvergEx Group’s LiquidPoint Provides Workflow Automation Technology to the NYSE Amex Options Trading Platform 3/11/2009 For Immediate Release New York and Chicago – BNY ConvergEx Group, LLC, a leading provider of global agency brokerage and investment technology solutions, today announced that LiquidPoint was selected to provide workflow automation technology for the NYSE Amex Options. The NYSE Amex Options trading floor booth operators will now use LiquidPoint’s technology for execution and routing on the trading floor. This technology has been seamlessly incorporated into the NYSE Amex Options trading platform and wireless network, made up of booth terminals and wireless handheld floor broker terminals. “The arrangement with NYSE Amex Options continues our focus on providing the options industry and our clients with workflow automation tools that increase efficiencies, help meet compliance needs and reduce overall costs,” said Anthony Saliba, chief executive officer of BNY ConvergEx Group’s LiquidPoint. “This is a perfect example of our hybrid approach of using technology to enhance open‐outcry trading.” LiquidPoint worked closely with NYSE Euronext operations staff to develop the workflow and automation to meet the needs of the exchange. “The LiquidPoint solution allows us to provide our members with state‐of‐the art technology to further enhance and automate their workflow, while meeting regulatory obligations and maximizing our platform’s superior capacity and throughput,” added Ed Boyle, senior vice president, NYSE Euronext U.S. Options.
